Santa’s Castle Referral Process
Referrals are based on financial need. Service members experiencing financial difficulty, with children ages 17 years or younger, are eligible. Santa’s Castle primarily serves ranks E-4 and below. All other ranks are considered on a case by case basis.
Only the Service member’s Chain of Command (1SGT or above) or the unit chaplain is authorized to submit referral forms. Please view this video detailing how to complete the online referral form.
The online referral must be completed by the Chain of Command. There are no self-referrals. Self-referrals will not be accepted.
After review and verification of the referral information, appointments are scheduled for the service member and/or spouse to visit Santa’s Castle and select toys for their children during the toy distribution time. Only those service members who qualify for the Santa’s Castle program will receive an appointment date and time.
The service member is required to confirm his/her appointment date and time as detailed in the appointment email. Questions may be directed to Scheduling@jblmsantascastle.org. Due to the large number of emails Santa’s Castle receives, the Castle will prioritize appointment inquiries; other emails may experience a delay in response.
