Santa’s Castle is staffed entirely by volunteers. Our Board of Directors work year round to ensure all areas of the Castle run smoothly. Each year approximately 150 volunteer elves assist the Board of Directors during our annual toy distribution. Additionally, we may have the need for more specialty volunteers to assist with specific projects or events.
We generally hire new Board volunteers in the spring or summer and volunteer elves in the fall. All volunteer elves are required to participate in a brief training and must be over 15 years of age. Volunteers joining our Board will submit an application and be interviewed to ensure a good match for the position.
